It started with a strong
market need.

Ten years ago, no software could adequately automate the leave and accommodations process.

Most software made it more confusing and none were designed for teams managing the complexities of leave and accommodations on a daily basis.

As consultant and industry leader at the time, our Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder, Seth Turner, knew his team and employees deserved better. So, he set out to build a leave and accommodation software designed by HR Professionals for HR Professionals. 

A team of technologists and leave experts was formed; long story short, the AbsenceSoft you know and love today was born.

Since then, we at AbsenceSoft have worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, making it our mission to help them take better care of their employees by optimizing their leave and accommodation experience. And, as the only industry-agnostic leave and accommodation software on the market, we’re still leading the charge.

After years of working with clients struggling with manual processes and Excel spreadsheets, I knew we could leverage technology to create a solution that would eliminate the administrivia of leave and automate the routine tasks so that our clients could focus on what’s important – the employees that need leave and supporting them through that journey and their return to work.
