AbsenceSoft is a leave of absence and accommodations case management platform. After logging in, users land on a dashboard that can be filtered by Cases, ToDo Items, or Employees. ToDo Items are automatically generated on every case based on configured workflows, replacing manual tracking methods like spreadsheets. These ToDos update in real-time as case milestones are reached, providing visibility into due dates and case status. Each case has a dedicated case page displaying complete case details, documents, history, and case management functions in a single view. The AbsenceSoft Compliance Engine (ACE) evaluates each case against federal, state, and company-specific policies as soon as a case is created. An eligibility summary with qualification criteria is displayed on the case page. When sending an eligibility packet to an employee, the platform generates a pre-populated, editable communication using employee and case data. The ACE Packet Generator automatically attaches required federal and state paperwork to the packet. Accommodations requests are managed by inputting case details following automated prompts. The platform then sets up the case management process. The Insights feature provides program-level reporting data, including number of employees currently on leave, average cases per assignee, and expected return dates. Insights Advanced adds prebuilt dashboards and the ability to duplicate, customize, schedule, and share dashboards. Payroll Calculations is an add-on that automatically calculates gross payment estimations for employees on paid leave directly within the platform, replacing manual payroll calculation processes. Employees can submit leave or accommodation requests through a self-service flow. The platform also supports demonstration of Insights reporting and Payroll Calculations functionality in personalized demos.
